SUMMARY OF POSITION:

We are seeking passionate, customer-focused Baristas who take pride in crafting high-quality beverages and creating exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of coffee preparation, cleanliness, and hospitality. Every interaction should leave customers feeling welcomed and eager to return.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and making personalized recommendations.

  • Ensure every beverage is prepared with consistency, accuracy, and attention to presentation.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in accordance with food safety regulations.

  • Monitor coffee quality throughout each shift, including espresso extraction, milk texture, and beverage presentation.

  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewing equipment, and POS systems safely and efficiently.

  • Restock supplies, rotate inventory, and communicate product shortages to management.

  • Handle customer concerns professionally and work to resolve issues promptly.

  • Support team members during busy periods to maintain efficient service and a positive work environment.

  • Follow opening, closing, and daily operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous barista or customer service experience preferred but not required.

  • Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn specialty beverage preparation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Schedule/Hrs:

Barista positions vary from full time to part time availability. All applicants should be available at least three shifts per week with a minimum availability of one weekend day per week.


COMPENSATION:

$11.00/hr plus tips
