AT DEEPER ROOTS, COFFEE IS MORE THAN A DRINK—IT’S THE CATALYST FOR CONNECTION.
It started back in 2011, when a group of friends in Cincinnati fell head over heels for coffee and the vibrant culture surrounding it. With a passion for third-place environments (you know, those cozy spots where you can sip, relax, and connect), we set out to learn the craft of coffee—from barista best practices to mastering coffee equipment.
Then came the real magic: forging a lasting relationship with coffee farmers in Santa Maria de Jesus, Guatemala. This partnership became the heart of our journey, inspiring us to launch Deeper Roots Coffee as a roasting company, committed to sharing extraordinary coffees with our community—and beyond.
BREWING A SHARED VISION
The specialty coffee movement was calling, and we answered. Since our early days, we've continued to evolve, collaborating with like-minded producers from all over the world. We don’t just roast coffee—we dive into taste, quality, and sustainability, exploring what’s possible when we work together with coffee farmers.
Our growth has taken us beyond roasting beans. We’ve opened coffee bars to showcase the very coffees we believe in, offering a space for creativity, hospitality, and cultural exchange. From coffee shop owners to home aficionados, we’re serving up more than just coffee—we’re serving connection.
Coffee is not just the product we work with; it is the thing that connects us with others and impacts all our relationships. From those who grow it to those who drink it, among our team and within our communities, we strive to be good for the people.
