NOW HIRING: WHOLESALE ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Wholesale Account Representative serves as a key connection between Deeper Roots Coffee and our wholesale partners. This role supports and strengthens relationships through attentive communication, consistent follow-up, and proactive service. The wholesale account representative will ensure that each partner receives the highest level of support in product knowledge, technical needs, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities include sharing coffees, products, and services; identifying technical or training needs; providing solutions to various wholesale partners’ challenges; and helping implement Deeper Roots Coffee’s quality control and educational programs. This position is ideal for someone motivated by quality, hospitality, and meaningful connection.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a primary communication link between the DRC roasting operations and wholesale partners
Identify, address, and resolve quality control issues within partner accounts
Support onboarding and training of new wholesale partners
Lead training sessions and create opportunities for ongoing partner education
Introduce and promote new coffees and their unique story to partners
Create awareness of various other DRC products and services to partners
Recognize opportunities to match partners with products or resources that meet their needs
Provide regular sampling and product education to wholesale partners
Identify and communicate coffee equipment service needs
Respond promptly to customer requests or direct them to the appropriate team member
Collaborate with the events team as needed to maintain meaningful connections with our customers and the coffee industry at large
Work together with the support team to ensure partner satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have 2+ years of experience in specialty coffee
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a
team environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
Positive, proactive attitude
Reliable and trustworthy team member
Comfortable facilitating group sessions or trainings
Adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving environment
Willingness to learn and grow
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
SCHEDULE/HOURS:
40 hours/week. Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.
COMPENSATION:
$45,000 annual salary with benefits
