NOW HIRING: PRODUCTION DESIGNER

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Deeper Roots is looking for a detail-obsessed Production Designer to serve as the visual backbone for two distinct yet interconnected brands. This designer will oversee creating all templated production design work at Deeper Roots and their sister company, Vienna Coffee Company, which is currently going through a rebrand. This position will have the opportunity to help create new assets as design systems and templates are being developed through the rebranding process, including assets across digital, print, and social platforms, ensuring that both brands maintain their brand identity.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Retail Experience: templated menus, in-store touch points, signature products and beverage launches

  • Product and Wholesale Production: packaging details from templates, wholesale support to aid in B2B growth

  • Digital & Social Content: campaign rollout assets, email & web assets, and assets to support our community impact initiatives

  • Merchandise: concept and template design for apparel, mugs and lifestyle goods

  • Events: flyers and social graphics to drive attendance to in-person brand experiences

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong communication skills

  • Must be able to work independently as well as with a team

  • Three or more years of experience with design software, including Adobe illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop in a professional setting

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Experience working with Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Experience working with branding guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Squarespace & Shopify

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline

  • Experience working with Jira project management system

SCHEDULE/HOURS:

  • This position is 20-30 hours / week. The quantity of hours per week will be determined base on projects

COMPENSATION:

  • Starting at $25/hr based on experience
