It seems like drinkers of black coffee get all the love when it comes to Geisha. So much so, you’re probably saying to yourself, “Espresso lovers shouldn’t be left out from the pure joy that comes in the form of consuming a delicate, enchantingly beautiful Geisha coffee.” First of all, you’re very articulate and well spoken. We like that about you. Second, we COMPLETELY agree and we’ve developed this Geisha Espresso Blend just for you. It highlights the unique character of the Geisha variety while showcasing its versatility. We’ve blended Finca San Jeronimo’s Geisha processed in two ways; honey and washed, as well as their “Porte Alto” washed Catuai, and believe us when say that there’s a really good chance it’s going to blow your mind.

The famed Geisha variety is the jewel in the crown of the San Jeronimo Miramar farm and is what originally drew us to working together. Renowned for its vibrant floral aromatics and complex layers of tropical & stone fruit notes, Geisha is a prime example of how much variety can influence the character of a coffee.

The Bressani family has operated the beautiful Finca San Jeronimo Miramar for over 100 years, and to just call it a coffee farm would be selling it short. Not only are some fantastic coffees being grown and cared for there, but also jersey dairy cows, honeybees, and exotic tropical fruits. Sitting high above all of this is a gorgeous, protected natural reserve and the forest is the lifeblood of the farm with its volcanic terrain feeding the farm’s natural fresh water springs and powers the farm’s entire processing facilities with hydroelectric power.

Our relationship with the Bressanis started back in 2013 on the grounds of Finca San Jeronimo. Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of working directly with their farm and mill management team, helping them develop an understanding of coffee quality once it hits the cup and give them more purpose behind their already stellar experimentation, processes, and logistics operations. Because of this relationship, we continue to see improvements in quality each year and will be continuing to taste and share their latest experiments and variety selections from the wonderful farm.
